Borderless is a multi-media musical production about breaking through the barriers and borders that keep us from an authentic, deep, growing relationship with Jesus. Inspired by Bishop Robert Schnase’s Five Practices of Fruitful Living, Borderless is a fresh perspective on discipleship. Come confront the places where we feel stuck in life and find a path toward living in a real and growing relationship with God. Once we step out beyond the borders, we find hope, faith, and love beyond our wildest imaginations.

Paisley Past, Present and Future

Thursday 21 September at 7.00pm

Paisley, Scotland’s largest town and once the flourishing centre of the weaving industry, rich in beautiful architecture and civic pride, is now a shadow of its former self. However, with recent improvements to the public realm and key buildings and a new sense of optimism around the bid to become UK City of Culture in 2021, now is a good time to look afresh at the town. Where have we come from, where are we now, and where are we going?

The Scottish Civic Trust, together with Paisley Methodist Church, present an evening of three talks exploring Paisley’s history and heyday, what has gone wrong and what can be done to encourage a more positive future. There will be plenty of opportunities for discussion and questions.

Organised in conjunction with the Scottish Civic Trust
Speakers: Past Professor John Hume OBE; Present Dr Valerie Wright, University of Glasgow; Future Jean Cameron, Paisley 2021
